We do not have many rules in Defiance but we do ask guild members to follow the following guidelines.
General Guidelines
- While we know slips happen we ask that you try to refrain from using profanity in guild channels and open chat channels (this is a violation of the game's terms of use and has been known to result in bans from GMs)
- Racial slurs, racial insults will not be tolerated at any time in any in game channel. remember your behavior can affect the guild as a whole.
- Please be respectful to other players, with a large guild we know there will be personality conflicts but please try to resolved them in private. If you can not resolve an issue please speak with an officer or a member of the Guild Leadership Team (Calamitie, Toveren, or Morgainna)
Guild Hall Harvesters
The guild hall harvesters are not for personal use. If you send the harvesters out please put the items they return to you in the guild harvesting depot so all can use.
Guild Hall Use
The guild hall is free for all guild members to use. We only ask that you reserve your dueling etc to the baseball stadium (can get there vial Morgainna Field portal). Dueling in tradeskill and other areas of the hall can cause lag for other members.
New Members
New members will require a 5 day recruitment period. During this time they will not have access to the guild banks (this is to protect the guild from bank thieves) If you are in your recruitment period and wish to obtain an item in the guild bank please ask an officer to retrieve it for you.
Guild Bank
The items in the guild bank are available for all to use. There are limits based upon rank. Guild bank 4 (Calamitie's Corner) is reserved for items such as master spells and rare items. You can obtain these items by talking to an officer. Master spells are half the price on the broker and the coin raised goes to the upkeep of the guild hall.
Guild Ranks
While we treat everyone in the guild as equally as possible, the rank system is based upon time in the guild with the guild leadership team appointing recruiters and officers.
Officers
There are 12 officers in the guild (10 leader appointed, 2 elected with 90 day terms) There are here to assist you with any guild issues you may have.
Main Raiders (coming soon)
While raiding in Defiance is optional we do keep a raid force for raiding. Unfortunaly due to SOE limitations raid spots are limited so if you are a member of the main raid force (either Alpha or Bravo) we ask that you follow the following guidelines:
- Keep your raid attendance up, we know at times you have to miss raids however please let an officer or raid leader know
- Be prepared by having signets, potions, logging into Ventrilo and being in the raid form up area at raid form up.
- Main raiders are also subject to the raid FAQ posted in the raid forum on the guild forums.
